If you have read my tweets and/or my blog you will know where I stand with Spammers, yes I hate them. What you will also know is that I am a huge fan of twitter and social media in general. Twitter specifically, has provided me with some great networking, friendships and provided me with a much needed creative outlet. One of the first people I met on Twitter was Mark Murnahan @murnahan Along with a core group of folks, known as the “snuggiemafia”, we would spend nights livestreaming on ustream.tv for hours. We would talk about social media, people we have met, news items that were important for the day or anything that popped in our heads. Most importantly. we connected as human beings. Despite geographically being all over the world, we connected and shared part of our lives with each other.
Mark has wrote a great book about Twitter that I highly recommend. Mark wrote an every person’s book for how to use Twitter. Whether you are an advanced user or just starting out on Twitter, this book will speak directly to you. Mark is a very unassuming guy and he uses his experiences and learnings to help others avoid the pitfalls that one can fall into when you are using Twitter. Mark puts it all out there for you to learn from and does so without ever speaking down to you.
If you are new to twitter or are an advanced used, I highly recommend that you pick up Mark’s book. You can either click on the link below (affiliate link) or go directly to Amazon and put in Twitter for Business and Mark’s book will come up.
