There appears to be a new kind of pond scum crawling out of the primordial ooze that is the internet, I shall call them “irritatus maximus”. It appears that their sole purpose is to fill up your tweetstream with not spam mind you, just bullsh*t tweets. As evidenced below.
My request to all of my followers and every twitter user that reads this post:
1. Follow @spam on twitter RIGHT NOW
2. Send a Direct message to @spam with the user name @bestof
Evan Williams seriously, if you need a Director of Product to help you with the spam problem, send me a DM and let’s talk. This kind of sh*t makes twitter feel like a scummier version of Craigslist- If there is such a thing. I am passionate about twitter and the great people I have met because of twitter. Conversely I have zero tolerance for spammers and people that just do things to irritate others.

Glad to help with the anti-scum movement. I’ve blocked this user (along with about 40 others in the past three days) and submitted to @spam. If EVERYONE would take a minute to do this, maybe (just maybe) we could help Twitter keep from becoming another garbage depot. Same goes for all these jerks that send continuous tweets about how to get 10,000 followers in 21 days BS. I don’t want 10,000 followers, and wish Twitter would figure out a way to ban auto-follow (and auto DM) software!
